Just War Theory

Prompt: Is offensive war ever justified? Is defensive war always justified? Is pacifism viable?
Unfortunately, the categories of fiction and non-fiction are difficult to apply to literature surrounding war. While some, like Forever War by Joe Haldeman are obviously Fiction, many of the other stories written like fiction are indeed very real. For the sake of consistency we will keep the standard labels, but just know that they are loosely applied to this reading.
